Marvel Comics reboot to turn Wolverine into a female?

It was revealed this week that Marvel Comics is planning on rebooting its comic books and reverting them back to issue number 1. Some of the changes include Thor remaining a female, Captain America remaining black, and a big change to the Hulk that will shock a lot of fans. However, there was another image that was released that shows a female Wolverine, who’s standing next to an Old Man Logan.

The female Wolverine has two blades per hand, which is a big hint that she may be X-23 taking the mantle of Wolverine. Will she keep the Wolverine moniker, or will she remain X-23 while wearing the Wolverine-inspired suit?

Marvel’s tagline: This is All-New All-Different Marvel!

The changes will be starting this fall and will take place after the events of the current-running Secret Wars arc. The creative team includes Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Mark Waid, Dan Slott, Charles Soule, G. Willow Wilson, Jeff Lemire, and more.
