Did director Peyton Reed just ruin Ant-Man’s ending?

Ant-Man is the next Marvel movie coming out and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang. Now it looks like director Peyton Reed may have ruined the ending. He shared on his Twitter comic panels featuring Ant-Man.

He commented with, “In a major act of self-sabotage, I have decided to spoil the ending of ANT-MAN. Here it is, in two parts.”

The comic panels are from Fred Hembeck Destroys the Marvel Universe #1, and this could be inspiration for the upcoming film. The first page has Crackers, the Clown Prince of Death, working with God in order to retire superheroes. He figures that he needs to start from the bottom and work his way up. The first guy? Ant-Man. As it turns out, Ant-Man is dealing with the Water Wizard. At the end of the page, he gets washed up and defeated.

The second page then leads to a weird turn. Ant-Man gets picked up by an old lady. Since he’s all wet, the lady decides to dry him off by using a… microwave. Bad mistake, since he blew up. The scene then cuts to another place, as we see Cracker entering Asgard. Could this be leading to Thor: Ragnarok?

Of course this is Reed just having a bit of fun. However, that would be the funniest ending ever if it is true.

Ant-Man is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17, 2015.
