Vote for any third party character to join Super Smash Bros. like Banjo-Kazooie

Mewtwo and Lucas were added due to high requests from fans

During the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot that allows fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite characters to join the roster in Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS in the future as DLC. Nintendo has confirmed that any character can be suggested and voted for, not only Nintendo characters but also third party character.

Of course it doesn’t mean that “any” character can be added mainly due to licensing issues (and it wouldn’t really make sense for a character to be added that wasn’t in any Nintendo games). Fans have suggested characters like Bayonetta, Rayman and even Banjo-Kazooie who appeared in the Nintendo 64 days.

Well one fan took to Twitter and asked Microsoft head Phil Spencer if Banjo could join the game if asked by Nintendo. Phil Spencer responded with an answer fans are sure to be happy with.

philbanSo with that, what character would you like to see join Super Smash Bros.?
