If you’re like most people with a Netflix account, you’ve probably wasted  spent an entire afternoon binge watching several episodes of your favourite show or even a trilogy of your favourite movies. But what if you could do the same with your comic books?

Scribd, a Netflix-esque e-book library, has added around 10,000 comic books and graphic novels to its service and you have unlimited access to the library for $8.99 a month. To sweeten the deal, Marvel has 500 titles available through the service. What better way to celebrate the latest Spider-Man news?

While purists may bring up the age old debate of “paper vs computer,” there’s no denying that access to thousands of comic books far outweighs the price of buying two issues a month.

Along with Marvel, here are a few of the publishers you can expect to see issues from:

  • Arcana
  • Archie Comics
  • Boom Studios!
  • Dynamite Entertainment
  • IDW Publishing
  • Kingstone Media
  • Space Goat Productions Inc.
  • Top Cow Productions Inc.
  • Valiant Comics
  • Zenescope Entertainment

Born and raised in the great white north, Eric grew up playing PC games and reading more Archie comics than is humanely possible. Clark Kent look-a-like on an epic quest to play all the retro games he wasn't allowed to as a child!
