Samuel L. Jackson’s contract is almost up for Marvel

Samuel L. Jackson was the inspiration to the Ultimates version of Nick Fury. And now that he has been playing Nick Fury in the Marvel cinematic universe for a while, it’s going to be sad to see Jackson absent from upcoming Marvel films…if his contract isn’t renewed.

In an interview with IGN, Jackson reveals how many movies he has left for his contract.

“Yeah, I’ve only got two more movies in my contract. [Laughs] That might be the end of it, unless I get an extension,” said Jackson.

If Marvel Studios follows the comic book arc, we necessarily don’t have to see Fury as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Plus, with HYDRA already ruining SHIELD, Fury is now out in hiding. Two more movies should be good enough for the character before his story ends.

Do you want Nick Fury to keep on continuing in the Marvel cinematic universe?
