DragonBall Xenoverse playable at GameStop

For Dragon Ball Z fans who have been on the fence about whether or not they want to pick up Bandai Namco’s latest installment in the franchise, fear not there is a demo out there. If you live near a GameStop, then you are in luck since there is a playable PS4 demo at the demo kiosk.

In case you’re not up to speed, you play as your own custom character who is summoned by time patrol Trunks to help him restore the Dragon Ball Z timeline that has been altered by villains Towa and Mira.

After putting in some hands-on time with it myself, it plays similar to the Budokai Tenkaichi series with elements from the original Budokai as well as the Raging Blast games. You can see more emotions when the characters are fighting, and while the AI you fight against in the demo is pretty bad, it’s likely that it’s on an easy difficulty setting to help the casuals and new players become acquainted with the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse launches February 24th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and PS4 systems.
