If you love music, then Spotify is one of the best music services out there. It’s free and allows you to listen to the music you want on your PC or tablet. (You can pay to avoid ads.) Now the music streaming service is heading to the PS4 and PS3 this spring via the PlayStation Music.

This exclusive partnership will allow Spotify to be deeply integrated into the PS4 and PS3 experience (also for the Xperia smartphones and tablets) to 41 markets all over the world. Your PlayStation Network account can be linked to your Spotify account, and you can also play music in the background while gaming on the PS4. Whether you’re playing Destiny or Grand Theft Auto Online, you’ll get to listen to the music you want to.

If you haven’t used Spotify yet, what are you waiting for? It has over 30 million songs to choose from with over 1.5 billion playlists.

So what does this mean for the existing Music Unlimited service? It will be closing on March 29, 2015.

This is excellent news for PS4 and PS3 owners who love Spotify. What do you think of this news?
