Cyanide and Happiness – The Adventures of Lunk

For those of you who have played many RPGs, tell me if this sounds familiar: Lots of dialogue you can’t skip and annoying NPCs that make you wish you could make them suffer a horrific and slow death. Well, the latest episode in Cyanide and Happiness’ show series has one of the best examples of something we wish we could do in most RPGs and The Legend of Zelda games with “The Adventures of Lunk.”

What makes this all the more hilarious is everything that rings true: Navi being ear cancer, the trade-off quests you really couldn’t care about, and the all important question, “Why do I have to trudge through all this garbage when I can just rampage through the front door of the castle?” Considering how much work went into this sketch, especially with the sounds, I hope they give him his own series, or at the very least, make similar video game sketches like this one.

What do you say to describe a guy who only sleeps 4 days out of the week? Probably a lot but if you ever see an obscure story about some kind of food product, indie game or something that doesn't quite fit on this site, you can (almost) guarantee this guy wrote it. Whether or not he was awake while it was written is anybody's guess.
