Shazam will be in the DC cinematic universe

Warner Bros. has been following Marvel’s footsteps by having its heroes come together in theaters, starting with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now we will finally have characters like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batman, Superman and many more living in the same universe. Shazam is also getting a live-action film, but it will be under the New Line banner. With that move, we’re not sure if he’ll be in the same universe as the other superheroes.

It looks like DC Comics has confirmed that the movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Black Adam will be in the same cinematic universe as Batman and Superman. In a blog post, the comic book publisher said that Warner Bros. “revealed a full slate of ten DC Entertainment feature films all set within the same universe.”

Shazam is the story about a kid who can turn into a powerful, adult superhero by saying “Shazam.”

Let’s hope we’ll get to see Shazam be a part of the Justice League movie in the future. Does this sound exciting to you?
