Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has received a title that it probably doesn’t want to receive, and that is the Worst Movie of 2014. RiffTrax, the company behind Mystery Science Theater 3000, polled its readers on what is the worst film this year.

The movie received 32,140 votes. To compare, 300: Rise of an Empire was the 10th worst and received 7,020 votes. That’s a big gap.

The movie was panned by critics and many fans, but some did enjoy the film for what it was. Paramount isn’t phased by it, since it will be producing the sequel, thanks to the box office numbers. Fan favorite Bebop and Rocksteady are also reported to appear in the sequel, so that should get some more fans in theater seats.
