Alamo Drafthouse fights for our freedom – Team America replaces The Interview

America, f*** yeah!

The Alamo Drafthouse, an independent theater chain based in Texas, has decided to that Team America: World Police will replace The Interview starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. This is a big sign of patriotism and is a great way of giving the middle finger to those trying to censor America.

Sony has confirmed that the The Interview won’t be playing in theaters due to threats. The decision came after many major theater chains deciding not to show the movie, including AMC and Regal.

Team America: World Police is written by South Park‘s Matt Stone and Trey Parker. The film pokes fun of Kim Jong Il, the father of current North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

“We’re just trying to make the best of an unfortunate situation,” James Wallace, creative manager and programmer at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s Dallas/Fort Worth location, tells The Hollywood Reporter.

The Dallas/Fort Worth location so far is the only one showing Team America.

“THAT is how true American heroes will be celebrating this year, but if you want to let the terrorists win…well, that’s your prerogative,” the site reads.
