One of the story arcs that played out during the past two seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the origins behind Coulson’s mysterious drawings. A few weeks ago, it was unveiled that the drawings are, in fact, blueprints for a city that the blue alien was hell bent on discovering. During tonight’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we find out the identity of the city that Coulson (and Hydra) have been searching for. With the recent revelation that the blue alien is a Kree, rumors ran rampant that the ancient city actually Attilan, the ancestral home of the Inhumans.

Earlier today, Jose Ladronn’s stunning Inhumans variant cover was revealed and keen eyes saw a little Easter egg within the cover. ComicBook.com found that the same circle and line patterns found in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is found in the variant cover as well.

Does this confirm that the ancient city that Coulson’s searching for is Attilan? After all, as Jeph Loeb reminds us, “it’s all connected.” I guess we’ll find out tonight!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT on ABC.
