The Hobbit: Billy Boyd sings ‘The Last Goodbye’ for the final film

It sounds like we will be hearing Pippin singing again but this time, it’ll be on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies soundtrack. Billy Boyd, who sang in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, will lend his voice again for the final The Hobbit film singing ‘The Last Goodbye’. Prepare your tissues!

Of course, Pippin isn’t in this film, but it’s nice to have some of the other LOTR cast members be a part of this trilogy somehow. The rest of the soundtrack features music from legendary composer Howard Shore. From the previews, the music is hauntingly beautiful.

WaterTower Music will be releasing the The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies soundtrack on December 9th, 2014. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies opens in theaters on December 17th, 2014.
