Sonic Boom premieres on Cartoon Network November 8th

With Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric coming to the Nintendo Wii U and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal coming to the Nintendo 3DS on November 11th, Sega announced that their new CG-animated series will begin airing starting November 8th on Cartoon Network. France will have it on November 19th and the rest of the world sometime in 2015.

The TV series and video games will tie in together and will be a part of a whole new Sonic Universe. The voices from the last few Sonic titles are all back with Roger Craig Smith returning as Sonic, Travis Willingham as Knuckles, Cindy Robinson as Amy, and Mike Pollock returning as Doctor Eggman (he’s definitely one of my favorite voices in the series).

Sega released a new trailer during the Sonic Boom 2014 Fan Event in New York which gives fans a chance to see what to expect including Eggman moving in with Sonic and friends for a few weeks. It’s something Sonic fans will get a laugh out of.

You can also watch the new trailer for the upcoming Sonic Boom games which features two familiar faces from the Sonic Universe.
