Stan Lee confirms Black Panther movie…again

Black Panther

Stan Lee is the legendary figure who helped create X-Men, The Avengers, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and many more. He’s such a figurehead that he has appeared in the majority of the Marvel films in bit cameos. So when he says that Black Panther is getting a live-action film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you better listen.

During Stan Lee’s panel at Fan Expo Canada on Friday, he responded to a question about whether Black Widow would be getting a movie, which lead to him revealing that Marvel is working on Black Panther.

“The chances are she will have her own movie because eventually all the superheroes are going to have their own movies. They are already working on Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and the Black Panther, and there are others I am not allowed to talk about.”

If you have been following Stan Lee news, then this shouldn’t surprise you, since he revealed before that Marvel was working on a Black Panther film last year. This time, he’s reconfirming again.

Ant-Man is already in production, and there are many rumors flying around about the casting of Doctor Strange.(Many sources say Joaquin Phoenix is a shoo-in.)

Where does this leave Black Panther? Many actors have expressed interest in playing the character, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Another rumor says that we might see Chadwick Boseman play as the Wakandan warrior in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

So what do you guys think of Stan Lee’s comment about Marvel doing the Black Panther movie?
