SDCC 2014: Visiting the set of the ‘Bates Motel’

BatesMotel

This year, A&E has decided to bring the set of young Norman Bates for fans to experience firsthand – The Bates Motel. The booth, located in the exhibitor room (Booth 4018), offers a photo opportunity to dissect a bird using the tools Norman bates moteluses. His taxidermy room looks exactly like the television show – with all the tools and even the gnome figure. It does provide a creepy Hitchcock feel to it. I loved it.

A&E will take a photo of you as “Norman Bates” dissecting his bird and allow you to email it to yourself to post on social media. Using the hashtag #InsideBates, you can show off your photo on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Here are the times the booth is available:
Thursday, July 24: 9:30 am-7:00 pm
Friday, July 25: 9:30 am-7:00 pm
Saturday, July 26: 9:30 am-7:00 pm
Sunday, July 27: 9:30 am-5:00 pm

Check out the booth. They even have their own Norman to creep you out.

Bates Motel cast members will be at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 25th, from 3:30-4:30 in Room 6A. Cast members include Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Olivia Cooke, and Nestor Carbonell. They will be joined by executive producers Carton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin. Fans can ask questions and find out what to expect for next season!

Bates Motel returns early 2015 on A&E.
