Harrison Ford’s injury will set him back 2 months for Star Wars: Episode VII

Han Solo Cantina star warsHarrison Ford was involved in an accident on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII last week. Now it turns out, he’s going to be out of commission for about 2 months, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ford broke his ankle and was taken to the hospital on Thursday. This will not prevent the film from continuing to shoot, and the film is still set for release on December 18, 2015.

So what actually happened on the set? You can blame that on the Millennium Falcon door. Yes, the space ship that may not look like much, did enough harm to cause Ford to be out of the action.

Ford is joined by old timers Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, and Peter Mayhew. New to the cast are John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie and Max von Sydow.
