Stephen King’s new book gets help from old friends

Mr. MercedesIf you’re a fan of Stephen King, then you probably already know that his new book, Mr. Mercedes, drops today. The novel is being billed as a “race-against-time” thriller, following a group of unlikely heroes as they try to stop a killer. Mr. Mercedes has already gotten some excellent reviews, but perhaps the most interesting part of the book’s release has been its brilliant ad campaign. Publisher Hodder & Stoughton has created a series of animated videos featuring some of King’s more memorable characters, introducing the villain known as “Mr. Mercedes”. Featuring Danny Torrence (The Shining), Carrie White (Carrie), Andy Dufresne (Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption) and Annie Wilkes (Misery) each discussing the nature of evil and power, these videos are a treasure for Stephen King fans. Check out the five videos below.
