Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- coming to the West this fall for PS3 and PS4

Aksys Games announced that Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- will be coming to the West this Fall for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles, and it will also be playable at E3.

In 2009, Aksys Games released Guilty Gear XX Accent Core which was the last new Guilty Gear games. In 2012 it released the game with brand new gameplay updates for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Xrd will be a brand new game using the Unreal Engine with a bit of a new look, while keeping true to the original series with 15 playable characters.

The game is set one year after the events of Guilty Gear 2: Overture, and will be very familiar to long time Guilty Gear and BlazBlue fans since the same team works on both games with BlazBlue getting a more recent focus in the last few years.

Daisuke Ishiwatari will once again be in charge of the game’s soundtrack.
