Xbox to make Netflix and Hulu available for free?

It’s already a ridiculous business model to begin with, but currently Microsoft is charging Xbox users to access services that they are already paying for; for example, Netflix and Hulu.

How it works now is that users have to pay monthly to use Netflix and Hulu Plus. They also have to pay for an Xbox Gold membership to gain access to these services.

Now rumor has it that Microsoft will get rid of this and allow Hulu and Netflix to be viewed without the requirement of a Gold membership. It’s likely to be announced during E3.

But wait, there may be a catch. According to Ars Technica, “Xbox Live Gold may put other services behind the paywall to make up for this shift”.
