Just take all this Persona news. Take it!

P5_0002 NRYou know all those Persona projects that Atlus announced a couple months back? Good news is finally in regarding them, as they’re all heading over to NA within the year, including the next main entry in the series, Persona 5.

First is Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, a crossover of Persona 3 and 4 done in the style of the Etrian Odyssey games, which Atlus also publishes. Players will be able to play as characters from both games in two branching story lines in an all new game that also sees the Persona franchise’s first foray onto the 3DS. Persona Q will be coming in the Fall of this year.

In fighting game news, we finally have a western release for the expansion for Persona 4 Arena, being called Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in the west. More details of the story are teased, including a mysterious red fog covering the city, as well as Akihiko, Mitsuru, and Aegis being portrayed as captured on the Midnight Channel. And is that Adachi’s silhouette being shown at the end? P4AU will also come westward this coming Fall for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Meanwhile, the more peculiar entry, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, has some extra details out about it. Apparently Rise has once again gotten herself trapped in the shadow realm after looking up information about the Midnight Stage. Instead of fighting monsters normally, you fight them by……. dancing. It’s as silly as it sounds, and the game seems to be essentially Project Diva with Persona characters, which is actually an apt comparison since it’s being made by the same developers as the Hatsune Miku rhythm game. This title is set to be released in 2015 for the PS Vita.

And of course, we have the big one, Persona 5. Unfortunately no new information has been revealed other than a confirmed 2015 release date for NA for the PS3, so fans will have to wait patiently for new details to emerge. The other Persona titles should help to keep you all busy until it comes out, though.
