Namco Bandai brings Short Peace compilation to western shores

I’ve kept tabs on Short Peace since it hit theaters in Japan last year and have waited for someone to pick it up for western releases. What surprised me is that a video game company would step forth in doing so. Namco Bandai announced yesterday that they will be bringing over anime anthology Short Peace to western markets for the Playstation Spring 2014.

Developed by Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira, Steam Boy), it consist of five short stories all directed by famous directors. Among them is Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, a high flying beautiful 2D Side-Scrolling game helmed by Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda51 (No  More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw) and developed by Crispy Inc (Tokyo Jungle). Namco Bandai released a cool trailer you can check out down below!
