CES 2014: Sony Booth impresses once again

It’s nothing new for Sony to have one of the most impressive booths and showings at CES. During their press conference they talked about wearable technology that can improve your life, 4k TV content including a very affordable 4k video camera, improvements in their mobile phones, and then the following morning we learned about PlayStation Now, a new PlayStation streaming service for gaming.

There were a few things that really stood out this year, while the Oculus Rift is getting momentum in the virtual reality scene, Sony was showing off their headset for the Xperia phone to show a new way of playing from your phone. It seemed more like a giant entertainment system with gaming capabilities, but I can’t wait to see it integrate into more things in the future.

IMG_7346Speaking of phones, Sony has worked hard to make the newest models attention-grabbing, and they did just that with the Xperia Z1 Compact and Z1S. These feature everything Sony has been aiming for with gaming, simplicity and power (it’s got a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipwith a 4.3in Triluminous HD display).

Sony even had their QX10 and QX100 lens on display, since it was announced a few months ago. I just wanted to play with these since it can connect to any phone, or tablet wirelessly.

With tons of new technology Sony has, it’s safe to say they sit at the top when it comes technology and content.
