Trick ‘R Treat never had the chance for a theatrical release, but that didn’t stop the movie from reaching cult status. Written and directed by Michael Dougherty (X-Men 2), it’s a horror anthology that features werewolves and serial killers. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, here’s your chance to watch the horror flick at a theater for one night only. The special screening and panel will close out Beyond Fest on October 28, 2013, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

The screening and panel will also be live streamed on Legendary’s Facebook Page.

Synopsis: Dougherty’s story takes place in a small Ohio town on All Hallows Eve where four interwoven tales – including a high-school principal who moonlights as a vicious serial killer, a college-age virgin who’s saving herself for that special someone, a woman whose hatred of Halloween is only exceeded by her husband’s love of the mischievous holiday, and a callous group of teens who carry out an unforgivably cruel prank – delivers the kind of chills that can only occur on the darkest day of the year.
