Starz’s Da Vinci’s Demons shows off Leonardo’s new hair

One of my biggest gripes from Da Vinci’s Demons was Leonardo da Vinci’s short hair. It just didn’t strike me as someone during the Renaissance, since it had a modern look. Looks like the show has decided to fix it by giving him long, flowing hair in the second season, as you can see in these photos.

The show stars Tom Riley as Leonardo as he finds Florence in chaos after the Pazzi conspiracy. With Lorenzo ill, it’s up to Leonardo to defend the city against the might of Rome.

Da Vinvi’s Demons is a show by David S. Goyer (Blade Trilogy, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Man of Steel) and will return on Starz in 2014.

Also starring is Laura Haddock as Lucrezia Donati, Blake Ritson as Count Riario Girolamo, Elliot Cowan as Lorenzo Medici and Lara Pulver as Clarice Orsini.
