Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag DLC to have you play as an ex-slave

assassin's creed black flag 1

Slavery in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is nothing new. We’ve seen it in the PS Vita-exclusive title, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. Even though the main protagonist, Aveline, isn’t a slave, she was able to dress like one and blend in with them. The Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag game isn’t even out yet, but Ubisoft has already announced the “Freedom Cry” DLC that will allow you to control, Adewale, an ex-slave. In the DLC, you’ll be able to free captured slaves and kill their captors. For those of you wanting a Django Unchained game, this comes pretty close.

To get a good deal on all the DLCs, Ubisoft has given players the option to get the Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Season Pass. It includes the 3-hour single-player story featuring Adewale, the exclusive Kraken Ship Pack (Season Pass-exclusive), multiplayer characters and more. It will cost $19.99, saving you 20% if you bought the DLCs individually.
