Injustice: Gods Among Us gets an Ultimate edition

IGAU_PS4_FOB_001_CLIn a move that’s just in time for the holiday season, NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Interactive announced today that there will be an Ultimate Edition to their DC Comic superhero fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The Ultimate Edition will include the original game, as well as all the DLC released thus far, including characters such as Zatanna, Lobo, Martian Manhunter, and Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion. It will also include all the downloadable skins and additional S.T.A.R. Labs missions. In addition, the game will also come with a bonus soundtrack, which features an exclusive track from Jane’s Addiction.

This game will be coming out on multiple platforms, including PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS Vita, and even the PS4. Valued at over $120, the package will be priced at $60 for the console versions, $50 for the PC, and $40 for the Vita version. In addition, the PS4 version will feature touchpad functionality, video sharing, and live streaming through the console itself.

NetherRealm did a similar move with Mortal Kombat 9, packaging all of the DLC in one box. It makes a great opportunity for those who have yet to get any of the extra content, or even the game itself, at a reduced price. However, if you already bought all the DLC, then you’re kind of S.O.L.

The Ultimate Edition is set to be released on Nov. 12 in NA, and Nov. 29 in EU and other regions.
