GTA Online is currently having issues

Grand Theft Auto V was released in September, but Rockstar Games wanted to take its time when launching the online version, GTA Online. Well, it has launched today and was met with many issues. It did warn gamers that the experience wouldn’t be smooth. The studio has compiled a list of issues that it is currently working on.

  • Occasional “Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable” error message
  • Freezing sometimes while loading into first race in GTAO with “waiting for other players” on the screen
  • Intermittent “Failed to Host a GTA Online Session” error messages
  • Race Corona (start area, marker) occasionally not showing up for first race
  • Errors saying “Timed out when matchmaking for a compatible GTA Online Session to join”
  • Occasional “Failed to start job” errors
  • General issues with the Social Club site and Social Club features (slow loading, failed logins, emails not arriving, etc).

I didn’t get a chance to check the game out online, but I’ll definitely have to check it out soon (hoping to get in). Are you guys experiencing issues online? If so, let us know here.
