Update: The hi-res fan-made logo uses the same design from the official logo. The only major difference is the use of the Man of Steel logo being incorporated into the design.

Check out the official Batman and Superman movie logo that was revealed during San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend. The crowd was ignited when Zack Snyder introduced Harry Lennix (who played General Swanwick in Man of Steel) to read a quote from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.

“I want you to remember, Clark. In all the years to come. In all your most private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.”

The quote was from Batman, as he wanted to prove to Superman that he’s the top dog. With that quote read, the crowd in Hall H knew that Superman would be meeting up with Batman in 2015.

It’s cool that WB is finally jumping in on the live-action superhero crossover, but I have to say that I’m not too thrilled about Zack Snyder and David Goyer working together again (Wasn’t a fan of Man of Steel). For those of you who did enjoy Man of Steel, then this should be excellent news!
