Dragonball Z: Battle for Z western release announced

So I’ve just kind of got back home from a long and arduous weekend involving Disney’s California Adventure park, Johnny Depp and about a hundred screaming (literally) fans. Don’t ask.

At least it wasn't as bad as this. But that's a story for another day.

Anyway, I checked my inbox of anything new and this trailer was at the top of my “check this out” list.

With the redundant title aside, this actually looks promising if it can be executed right. When I bought my copy of the Budokai 3 HD release, I expected an online multiplayer add-on, but was sadly disappointed when it was just a straight port. Not since the days of Earth Special Forces, a special add-on for Counter-Strike 1.6 that’s basically a multiplayer DBZ game, has anyone tried this, and I have to ask why. Seriously, why in the hell has it taken so long for someone to realize “Hey, you know what people might enjoy? Massive multiplayer battles with DBZ characters!”. Well, we’re just going to have to wait and see if this is any good once it’s released here in the U.S, which sadly hasn’t been specified yet.

What do you say to describe a guy who only sleeps 4 days out of the week? Probably a lot but if you ever see an obscure story about some kind of food product, indie game or something that doesn't quite fit on this site, you can (almost) guarantee this guy wrote it. Whether or not he was awake while it was written is anybody's guess.
