We’ve got some exciting news and rumors for Zack Snyder and Man of Steel. Apparently, it seems like Zack Snyder is going to be directing the Justice League movie. Also, the director reveals that we’ll be seeing some DC Universe references in Man of Steel.

So where did this piece of information come from? You can go ahead and look at Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer. Fleischer was rumored to be in the running as the Justice League director. In an interview by Screen Crush, he was asked whether he was still interested in doing the movie. He replied that he was interested in directing a big superhero movie, but it wasn’t going to be Justice League. So why isn’t he doing it?

“Well that’s something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing.”

Hmmm, Zack Snyder? If this is true, the studios must be really ballsy, since Man of Steel isn’t even out yet.

Snyder revealed to Empire that there were going to be reference to the DC Universe.

“I have been making references to the DC Universe, just to let you know that world is out there…”

The question is if these references will be sprinkled throughout the movie, or will we be getting a post-credit scene? If Batman makes an appearance in the movie, I know a lot of fans will be shitting their pants. Here’s hoping Snyder is going to really wow us in the end.
