Tomb Raider is also getting a reboot on the big screen

Tomb Raider

Since the Tomb Raider video game reboot has been pretty successful and has received a lot a great reviews, the Tomb Raider film is now following suit with its own reboot.

MGM CEO Gary Barber has announced on Wednesday that they are teaming up with GK Films to produce a new Tomb Raider flick based on the video game reboot. GK Films acquired the film rights from publisher Square Enix.

Although I’m one of those fans who hated the Tomb Raider movies starring Angelina Jolie, both Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life have grossed over $432 million worldwide. Money talks…money talks.
