Cranson and Olsen in talks for Godzilla franchise!


Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House) are in talks with Legendary Pictures for the upcoming reboot of Godzilla. The script is being written by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) with Cranston and Olsen showing interest in the film. Aaron Johnson has also expressed interest in the movie.

The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters) and produced by Legendary’s Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Mary Parent. The WB will be distributing it. Legendary Pictures plan to begin production sometime soon for a 2014 release.


One of the most famous movie monsters created, Godzilla has been featured in more than 25 films, TV, video games, books, manga, and parodies. Legendary Pictures have plan for the monster to have a realistic portrayal.
