I started reading the Doctor Who comics due to the Star Trek The Next Generation and Doctor Who mash up. A new Doctor Who (only) comic from IDW has come out and it stars the First Doctor. This is part of the 50th Anniversary and the first issue of a twelve-issue miniseries – each issue will have one of the Doctor’s incarnations.

We are given a sample of the first few pages of the First Doctor and his companions – Vicki (who was rescued from the planet Dido) and school teachers, Ian and Barbara.
