For the past week, Arwel W. Jones (@arwelwjones), the production designer for BBC’s Sherlock, has been tweeting photos of a familiar flat as it gets pieced together. For fans of the show, this has quietly announced that the popular BBC drama will finally begin filming its third series after a long hiatus and puzzling series two finale cliffhanger.
Here’s the most recent tweet:
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, who was most recently seen as Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit, the show will no doubt continue to entertain fans, both old and new.
No air date, UK or otherwise, has been set officially, but rumor has it we can expect to see it sometime this fall. Until then, you can catch Cumberbatch as the villain in Star Trek Into Darkness, out May 17th, 2013.
