The Wolverine is inspired by the comic book written by Chris Claremont with pencils by Frank Miller where Wolverine goes to Japan and falls for a Japanese woman. The problem? Wolverine just pissed off her dad, who’s the leader of a Japanese crime organization. The things we do for love.

The Wolverine slashes into theaters on July 26, 2013.
