‘Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles’ to start filming in ‘April’

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gangnam Style

Oh, you thought the whole Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles movie that Michael Bay is spearheading was all a dream? Nope, it’s getting more real by the second, especially now that the production schedule has been revealed. Michael Bay has been on a lot of fanboys’ hit list ever since he joined the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles project (well, this isn’t the first time he pissed off fans. Transformers, anyone?).

According to Production Weekly, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles starts production in April in New York. April…what a coincidence.

“Principle photography on TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, is scheduled to begin this April in New York.”

Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the man responsible for the critically panned Wrath of the Titans and Battle Los Angeles, and will release on May 16, 2014.

Whatever happened to the movie being called Ninja Turtles? And let’s hope that the title Production Weekly posted is the actual title. Either way, my confidence in the movie is still zip.
