Your last chance to pick up Capcom’s Tatsunoko vs. CapcomPosted 2:04 pm on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 by Chris Del Castillo
On today’s Capcom-Unity page, there was a poster who asked about the Wii U’s backwards capability with one specific title Tatsunoko vs Capcom. An interesting post came up from Capcom’s VP Christian Svensson stating that “Our rights with Tatsunoko have lapsed fairly recently (so we’re no longer allowed to sell the title physically or digitally). Unless Japan were to strike a new deal, I’d say the chances of this happening are slim.”
What does this mean? The future sucks for fans of the series. The game can be played on the Wii U, so if you want to play a game that features many of Capcom’s characters facing off against team members from Gatchaman or Casshern, now is your final chance.
The game was a Wii exclusive, and will now become one of those hard to find games.
Growing up Chris watched a lot of the original Saturday morning cartoons and developed a love for arts and animation. Growing up he tried his hand at animation and eventually script writing, but even more his love of video games, anime and technology grew.
