Minecraft, a game about building blocks, has topped Activision’s bread and butter, Modern Warfare 3, as the most played game on Xbox Live. Yeah, I know, it’s crazy. According to the stats by Major Nelson, the week of October 15th saw Minecraft at the top of the online Xbox service.

Modern Warfare 3 is now number 2 on the list, with games like FIFA 13, Black Ops, Halo: Reach and Battlefield 3 trailing behind.

I still have yet to try this game out. That reminds me, my Xbox Live Gold account is about to expire.
