Along with Nintendo officially announcing the Wii console price drop, retailers such as GameStopBest BuyAmazonKmart and Target have been carrying the new Xbox 360 Holiday Bundles with the $50 price reduction for both its 250GB and 4GB version. Both bundles will retail at $249.99 each (the standard and 250GB Kinect Holiday Bundle will be $350).

The 4GB Holiday Bundle will contain the Kinect sensor, Kinect: Disneyland Adventures and Kinect Adventures games. The 250GB Holiday Bundles will contain 2 games; Amazon, Kmart and Target will have Fable III and Halo: Reach Holiday Bundle, while GameStop and Best Buy will have a Skyrim digital code and Forza Motorsport 4.

No word yet on whether this is a permanent price cut.

As for Sony’s PlayStation 3, we’ve been seeing price cuts in the UK, but I haven’t seen anything yet for the U.S. market. Come on, Sony, you need to get in the game.
