Chloe Moretz destroys a town in the first teaser trailer for Carrie

Remakes of horror classics are starting to become the norm now. Granted, most of these horror remakes come from the producerial mind of the much-maligned Michael Bay, but nevertheless the classic horror movies that most of us grew up with are getting an updated look. Today, MGM and Screen Gems have graced us with a teaser trailer for Kimberly Peirce’s remake of Carrie. Brian de Palma directed the original 1976 Carrie and stars Sissy Spacek, and the remake stars Hit-Girl herself, Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie and Julianne Moore as Carrie’s psycho mom, Margaret White. Carrie comes out March 15, 2013. Check out the teaser trailer below!
