Looks like the adventure will continue soon after the end of Assassin’s Creed III with the reveal of the “The Tyranny of King Washington” DLC content. It’s a single-player campaign that will be released as three episodic DLC content following George Washington’s rise into tyranny.

As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend.

Nothing like taking one of America’s iconic presidents and turning him into an evil son of a bitch. I can imagine the public outcry over this news. Just think what would happen if Ubisoft decides to have the next Assassin’s Creed game take place during the Civil Rights Movement with Martin Luther King, Jr. as a Templar. Yes, conspiracies! Take The Last Temptation of Christ for example. There’s a scene in the film where we see Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene getting it on. This lead to many Christian groups protesting because it was a departure from the bible.

With this news Ubisoft has announced the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed III that includes all five upcoming downloadable content packs. This includes the three episodic DLC content for “The Tyranny of King Washington” and new maps and characters for multiplayer. The pass will be available within 6 months after the release of ACIII and will cost 2400 MS Points on XBox Live and $29.99 on PSN. Getting it will save you 25% compared to buying them individually, and you will get to access the DLCs one week earlier than everybody else.

Assassin’s Creed III will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 30th in North America and Latin America, Windows PC on November 20th and on Nintendo’s Wii U on November 18
