Criterion’s NFS: Most Wanted ‘If you can find it, you can drive it’Posted 10:54 pm on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 by James Martinez
I’ve played almost every Need for Speed game that has come out. When Criterion took over the series, I knew they were going to make the game shine, taking away the lame story modes and just allowing you to have an over-the-top driving experience. I was one of the first to get the last Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, and now I can’t wait for the next title, Need for Speed: Most Wanted!
Criterion has completely upgraded Autoblog, now Autoblog 2. It tracks everything you do in the game and compares it with your friends. Autoblog 2 will tell you who has the fastest speed track, highest just, longest drive, or quickest race. One of the best parts about this new game is that all the vehicles in the game will be available from the start. “If you can find it, you can drive it.” As you explore the new world, when you find a vehicle you like, simply walk up to it, get in, and DRIVE! No need to purchase cars anymore or unlock classes, just get in and become the most wanted.
After you find you dream car, it’s time to race or be chased. In the last Need for Speed (Hot Pursuit), you had weapons to slow down the police and your opponents. You got tools like an EMP blast, spike strips (my favorite by the way) and a radio jammer. In Most Wanted you will have the ability to customize your vehicle; either with reinforced chassis, re-inflatable tires, or impact protection.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to play!
