YouTube has come a long way from just allowing you to post up videos. You can find practically any type of videos on YouTube, from how to fix practically anything to live events, like the recent democratic events. Now YouTube wants to add onscreen quizzes. This could be a great educational tool, not just for school, but also for any step-by-step video. Imagine making videos to learn Photoshop or how to do an oil change on your car and having small quizzes along the way.

The new feature is just in beta right now, and YouTube states that it’s a work in progress right now. If you do join the beta testing, you’ll get to add your questions and answers to your video. Then you can choose when the questions come up, give the user hits to the correct answer and show the viewer when they selected the right answer.
