Looks like those of us (me being one of them) who pre-ordered the collector’s set will have to wait a few months before we get our hands on it. Entertainment Weekly broke the news that the lawsuit-ridden Phase One set will be delayed at an “undisclosed” date come next spring. Fear not Marvelites, the Avengers stand-alone Blu-ray and DVD release date of September 25 will not be affected at all. No word yet on the look of the new redesigned set and what will come about from the discarded plastic cases.
