I guess it’s contest day today. We recently posted the Power Rangers contest, and now here’s another contest to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Starship Troopers and the release of Starship Troopers: Invasion. We’ve partnered up with Sony Pictures and have some cool prizes for you guys.

The Grand Prize is a Blu-ray copy of Starship Troopers: Invasion from director by Shinji Aramaki (Halo Legends, Appleseed), an action figure and a poster.
Second place prize is a DVD copy of Starship Troopers: Invasion, an action figure and a poster.
Third place prize is a DVD copy of Starship Troopers: Invasion and a poster.
Fourth place prize is a poster.

Here’s how to enter the contest:

I hate bugs. I understand their place in the natural order, but when I see them, I have the urge to eradicate every single one of them from existence. First thing to do is to like our Facebook page. Then in the comment section, tell me what type of bugs you hate the most and your preferred method of getting rid of them.

Update: Contest ends on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at 11:59 PM PST. US residence only. No PO Box. Winners will be announced the next day. Winners must contact me for mailing information.

Grubs and Junebugs are at the top of my lists. The grubs I’ll dig up and feed to my neighbor’s chickens, but when it comes to Junebugs I scream ‘Get it! Get it!’ until one of the men folk crush it into bug paste or one of my dogs catches it and eats it.

I hate ants! They are annoying little pests when they come into my home (always uninvited, of course) and my preferred method of getting rid of them are as follows: Using ant stakes (this works the best). Also, using a bleach and water mixture in a spray bottle (that kills them, and also causes their friends to retreat…although they always seem to return after awhile. And then there is those times when I get totally ticked off at them, and use duct tape! I get some duct tape, and go to town! Once they are all stuck to the tape, They can’t get away, and then in the trash they go!

Little gnats. I get them in the operating compartment of the train I run at dusk. When the land on the window inside, I smoosh them with the cap from my water bottle. At the end of my run, there’s almost as many carcasses on the inside as on the outside. And I pride myself on how many I can get!!!

WASPS!!!! They are the worst. Not only am I allergic to them, so even the sight of them sends this grown ass man running in any direction available…and sometimes not available (Yes you will get elbowed) but they keep stinging and stinging! My parents can vouch that I have grabbed anything in arms length including spraypaint, lighter fluid, hairspray, and pool chemicals to kill these bastards.

Well, thanks a lot Ronald Oliver! My favorite way to kill bugs is by killing ants with duct tape. Oh well. My second choice is those wasp traps. Ya know, the bottle with the top pushed in. I love watching those bastards crawl in and those dumbasses have no idea how to get out. Then they slowly drown in their own ignorance, and whatever liquid is in the bottom. ;D What a great way to spend a summer afternoon.

  Great minds think alike! ..well, they have fly paper (fly ribbon) to catch flies and they have sticky traps for rodents, so why not sticky tape for the little mofo ants!

I hate spiders. Absolutely hate them. I can’t sleep when I know there’s a spider somewhere in my room. Moths are horrible too, not because they’re frightening, but because they fly around your lights and annoy the crap out of me. I usually grab something big like a binder and kill spiders with it. I can’t kill spiders with something small, I’m always afraid they’ll somehow crawl onto the thing and get on me. Hope I win, that action figure looks awesome, and I loved the movie! I was actually going to search and see if they made/are making any figures based on the movie and found this site Thanks!

Spiders. I loathe them. Always swinging on their webs, jumping around, and foiling your bank robbing and kidnapping plans while wearing red and blue spandex and cracking jokes when all your trying to do is make a living. I have tried many methods: bazookas, machine guns, even other animals like Octopuses but that damn spider always manage to beat them. But yeah someone should definitely something about the spider problem we have. Darn do gooder.

Centipedes are the bane of my existense…And i get rid of them the only way a real man should….by wetting my pants, screaming, and running far far away. Thats way to many legs for me to even comprehend man.
