By now I’m sure you’ve heard that OnLive went bankrupt and had to fire half of its staff in order to pay off creditors and restructure. Microsoft is now trying to grab some new people by hosting a mixer at its Redmond and Mountain View locations on Monday, August 27th.

The open invitation from Microsoft stated, “We are looking to add key players who want to make a real impact in creating groundbreaking new products and services.”

Now that OnLive is starting to build back up, it has hired back some of its fired staff. However, it’s great to see other tech companies lend a helping hand in such dark times. I think Microsoft will greatly benefit from OnLive’s loss and gain a talented new workforce for the XBOX Kinect.
