Apple isn’t the richest company ever

According NASDAQ, Apple is now the richest company ever in North America, with $623.52 billion market share, beating out Microsoft’s $616.34 market share in December of 1999. What they didn’t account for is inflation. With inflation adjusted to $1.38 in today’s dollar, Microsoft’s $616.34 billion becomes $850 billion. So yeah, Apple is not even close.
Even if Apple isn’t the richest ever, Apple is still #1 now and that’s what counts, right?
