A new combatant has entered the DC Universe fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Catwoman, also known as Selina Kyle, has been both a friend/lover for Batman, as well as one tough criminal for him to deal with. Now she takes part in an all out battle that features heroes and villains from popular DC comics.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the team behind the Mortal Kombat series, they have put their own spin on the character design and style. While Catwoman’s attire has more a full-armored look, she fights with quickness using her claws, feet and whip.

With Catwoman put into the mix, this brings the total number of playable characters to 9 including Batman, Cyborg, Nightwing, Flash, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman and Wonder Woman.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will release in 2013 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
