If you’re in the Los Angeles area, I’d like to let you guys know about an upcoming event called PopUp Dinner LA. So what is this event exactly? It’s part flash mob and part big picnic event where attendees dress in all white and gather together with others who appreciate nice atmosphere and food. It’s being held on August 25th, 2012, from 5pm – 11pm, and the location of the event is a secret and won’t be revealed until the day of via E-mail.
Yeah, this definitely sounds like a fancy white party, and as long as you’re dining in style, you should be okay. Just imagine having a giant Mad Tea Party filled with thousands of other picnickers.
So what’s provided to you? Chairs, tables, and entertainment. Food is available, but they also recommend guests bringing their own food and drinks.
What should you bring? Tableware, food and drinks. And yes, you can bring wine and champagne.
Tickets for each person is $28, and if you don’t want to bring your own food, you can get a catered picnic basket for $50. You can get tickets at http://www.popupla.info/tickets.html.

It’s a good thing I still have my White Rabbit DJ outfit from the Mad Tea Party at Disney’s California Adventure. Look out for the bunny ears!
